occassionally I will go to start the c280 and it will sart and stall right away, but on re try will start and drive normally. and start fine for maybe days or weeks with no problem. no lights on the dash idicating an engine failure.I can hear the fuel pump still going when it stalls. any ideas ?

shifts slowly 2nd to 3rd then will not shift down at all in drive (no kickdown, will not shift to 2nd or 1st when completely stopped. if i turn the car off and immediately restart it goes in 1st and shifts normally for a while.i dont think the problem is internal...any ideas?

I recently purchased this vehicle and now it won't start, unless I use jumper cables. But then after a remove the jumper cables it shuts off. Is it the alternator? Your feedback is appreciated, thanks

Doy you think I am stupud I am college student I paid about $4,500 for a car I bought it in may my transmission went out I'm getting a nwe one in town at a transmission shop for 2,000 thats with labor and every thing my friend say I shoulda just got a new car but i think why to put more money into it. my other option was to get it wowd 192 miles home and get it ficed by a back ally mechanic

Everytime I get out of my car after driving, I smell gas. I don't smell it on the inside, just when I get out. Does this mean that there is a possible gas leak? If so, how do I check to verify? If not, do you have any ideas on what it could be?

92 Toyota pickup V6 ...

Looks like no pressure building up in fuel lines. I can jump the fuel pump to battery and it works and pumps fuel to rail. Looks like good flow. I can also turn over without jumping and get fuel to rail.... per what I have read for this truck the MAF sensor controls the power to the fuel pump, so no fuel pump until air flow, whereas some just turn on with key in ON position.

i was on ronald reagen highway in cincinnati,ohio.on november 16th, appoxmently 9pm. this biker was going down the road and this car ran into him and knocked him over and ran over him, then this suv ran over him and the motorcycle, that was the wildest thing i ever saw.totaly crushed the bike,and looked like he was about dead.am i the only one to see that crazy stuff happen that nite there?

I am getting my new car and I was wondering what car or small truck I should buy. I was thinking about getting either a Ford Ranger or a Chevy S10. In a car I don't know what to get.
