I do it all the time, with a special one made for car finishes. No scratches or any problem. I don't press hard or go over any area that is mainly dry. Saves alot of time. You can buy them at Walmart, Target, Auto stores, etc.

NONONONONO Don't do that after a while it can take of the paint, just go buy the Mr Clean Auto Dry Carwash kit, i use it on my Toyota Supra all the time and it works try that. And they sell a special cleaner for your windows called magnaum 2000 it works real good on tinted windows and does not peal the tint

its not a good idea to do that,,you can leave lines in the paint,and in some cases damage the paint job if the wrong part of the squeegee hits on it,,good luck ,i hope this helps.,,think of this,,one little grain of dirt that gets in under the squeegee,and it will scratch the paint up,,is it worth the risk,,good luck.

It will scratch the paint. Use a soft cloth and keep wringing it as dry as possible.

try to purchase one of the soft silicone squeeges available specifically for car finishes, they are different and will not harm the autos finish. typically most squeeges for glass are way too rough for auto finishes and most likely will scratch...

we do it all the time after we wash our fleet vehicles it gets rid of the water spots and we havent had any scratching problems doing it .
