I Financed a 2005 xterra and the value of it is about how much I still owe which is 18,000 about. I want to trade it in for a subaru that is 18,000 or lower. How would I go about this? How badly would i get screwed in money?

Thanks

All variable the same: car, hill, conditions. Was wondering about the gas usage per minute, not the total to get down the hill. Would the car in neutral use the same amount of gas assuming neither car / driver touches the accelerator pedal or would it use less?

Thank You.

I am thinking that I could put gasket material on the covers, but then they would be uneven with the deck.

The easiest and quickest way to build a low cost, high performance vehicle is to assemble a “side-by-side” tandem bicycle. I am looking for a system that lets you snap itself together to make a four wheeler or unsnap it to allow for traditional, two wheeled riding. If interested, please contact for preliminary designs.

Right! I've tried several times to foil you guys out there, but you always get the better of me. Now see if I can beat you with this question.

Why do British cars never use the letters "I", "Q" or "Z" on their number plates? I've heard the explanation that the letter "I" can be confused with the number 1, and that maybe the letter "Q" could possibly be too close to the number 0. However, if that was the reason, they wouldn't use the letter "O" because it is almost the exact replica of the number "0".

Surely I must have got you flumaxed this time?

Anybody know where one might find the old style Harley with the gear shift lever on the left side of the fuel tank and what was known as the suicide clutch which was operated with the left foot.
I've always been fascinated by those.

I have a '94 Cavalier, has been running great since I had the head gasket replaced about 5k miles ago because it was leaking coolant. Drove it into the driveway last night, no problems. I go out tonight to drive it and it will not start. Cranks fine but its not 'kicking' at all. The only time I get a kick out of it is when its floored and while I am cranking it. Then it seems like it really wants to start but just cant. My guess is a clogged fuel filter or clogged something. But, ended up checking the oil in the process and it was barely touching the bottom of the dipstick. So I put about 1.5 quarts in it and it didn't really help. Odd thing is that when I try to start it with the dipsick pulled out, quite a bit of smoke comes out of the dipstick tube... might just be from all the friction and not much oil pressure yet as it is not started. Well, any help will be appreciated.

I have a 1999 ford contour 4 cyclinder and it will not start. It is getting way to much fuel and causing the engine to flood. Any ideas on what is causing this?

I need to know the pumps location in the tank.

2006-11-29 11:41:26 · 8 answers · asked by Joseph P 1 in Ford

Fuel pump has good flow. (I put a hose on the fuel line at the filter into a plastic bottle.)

I changed the filter yesterday. It was filthy and had some water in it.

The fuel pump turns on briefly (2 seconds)when I turn the key to the on position.

If I try to start it, it does start every time. (for about two seconds, then dies.

I can hear the relay click "off"

The fuse is good on the firewall by the relay. (I looked)

I'm at a loss and I could spend the time troubleshooting the problem, but I'm hoping someone allready has had this problem and knows what the fix is, and they would be so kind as to share it with me.
