according to there website, it will go down to 35 hrz.

35hz is the Fs response, not it's lowest playable tone. If a sub could only play as low as 35hz then it sucks and isn't much better at producing subsonic frequencies than my mid range speakers. Check the owners manual, it should give you the range.
