when the oil has not been changed , with alot of running hours , the oil becomes contaminated , with residue from heat , oil breakdown, the ph level turns slightly acidic (from sulfurs from the fuel ) . this acidic oil then eats away at the engine bearings .
this would take years to kill the engine . reaally the engine may run for many years without oil changing , (but it would defiinetly not last longer than a engine with regular oil changes.)
if the oil is old , and just sitting , engine not running much , then it would have more condensation and water content ,( from day temp rising and cooling - moisture sweatson the oil pan )- kinda like moisture on a i glass of ice water causing .brownish oil. not good for a engine either if run .. best to change at least once a year

Possibly nothing, depending on just how long it's been. Over time oil breaks down and loses it ability to lubricate and also thickens. Left long enough, the dirty oil will cause sludge in the engine, clogging oil passages and starving the bearings for oil which will result in major damage.

Extra wear and tear on your engine's internal parts. It will shorten the life of your engine. Go get an oil change soon.

In any engine, bits of metal from the moving parts slowly break down the motor.

the oil in your engine is important and you should change it now or at least add to and change soooooon.........ther oil gets burned when it is old and will also turn to varnish and gum up your internal parts of the engine---- motors require maintenance and service or they run poorly or die.........
