I just bought a 2007 pontiac solstice gxp. I would like to get a personalized plate but cant think of any good ideas. I was thinking something about the car or its attributes would be nice. i dont want anything cheezy like richgrl cause that is not the case here.

Why is it that Chevy trucks have such a high resale value, even to the point that is not smart to buy a used one 2-3 years old because you can afford a new one with better financing for cheaper? I know chevy's are good trucks, it's all I drive, but they can't be "that much better". Other truck companies trucks do not resale as well, namely ford and dodge...Why is this so?

My car still has his initial tires with 75,000 done. I am Canadian, I should change them. I will be heading to the USA in 2 weeks. At the border, they often asked if we bought american's tires. Is that means that I should buy a new set in N.Dakota, Michigan ... (as it is on my way to Toronto)?

A few questions here...First, for those of you who have the new 2007 Camry, do you have any problems with it??? I've heard some things about the transmission and the inside being noisey. Second, can you add things like a spoiler to the basic package without having to buy one that already has a spolier plus a bunch of other unnecessary options???? Lastly, are there any deals going around on the camry or are dealers easily dropping the price some??? I know for some cars dealers wont budge. Thanks for all the help!

k so it's a 94 lincoln continental just replaced the alterneter took it for a drive now car will not shut off(had to stall it), lights on dash stay on even with no key and will not start using key. with good battery i can start the car by shorting out my magneto with a wrench anyone got any ideas of what is doing this.

I turn the car on and it will sound fine for about 30 seconds, Then it will just die. I found a Vacuum hose that came off but I put it back on and it still does the same thing.

I'm trying to install aftermarket LED's into my car that operate on a switch. I've tried to wire them through the cig lighter that I don't use, and blew a fuse. I tried wiring them into the guage lights, and now I don't have any guage lights (also, how could I get them back? there's no fuse for them). If I were to run a wire from the battery, using an inline fuse, and grounding (a similar setup to running wires for an amp) would that work or would I fry my car?

I drive a front wheel drive sedan that needs new tires. I am debating whether I should:
a) Get all season tires.
or
b) Get snow tires, then buy all season tires after the winter season.

Do snow tires really make a huge difference? I don't put a price on safety, but if the improvement is negligible, I'm not sure its worth the extra cost.

I live in the north east BTW.
