It is compairing the amout of miled driven as compaired to flight miles.
Riding in a plain is safer then driving or riding in a car.

Generally speaking, the adverage has been 12-1500 per year for the last 30 years,-- however some years it was less thatn 1,000.
Compare this to 40--45,000 per year in automobiles, - yet some people are scared to death of airplanes, -- when the most dangerous part is driving to the airport!

Crap its heaps ! what a load! lately how many fall out of the sky! id rather the car thanks! than 30 thousand feet! AND DEPENDING ON ONE PERSONS HOLDDING THE WHEEL AND A COMMPUTER! I DOND TRUST MY LIFE WITH OTHER PEOPLE DIRECTTING ,STEERING THE PLAIN THE THOUGHT OF SOME ONE WITH MY LIFE IN THEIR HANDS SUCKS! DONT CARE HOW MANY HOURS FLOWN! DIDNT STOP OTHERS CRASHING!!!
