A few questions here...First, for those of you who have the new 2007 Camry, do you have any problems with it??? I've heard some things about the transmission and the inside being noisey. Second, can you add things like a spoiler to the basic package without having to buy one that already has a spolier plus a bunch of other unnecessary options???? Lastly, are there any deals going around on the camry or are dealers easily dropping the price some??? I know for some cars dealers wont budge. Thanks for all the help!

Its one of the most over-rated cars. Read the reviews and you will see why. Toyotas quality has gone down while the demand has risen. Look at the Saturn Aura, you wont be disapointed. Its the next big thing waiting to happen, and when the word gets out you wont be able to get one for anything. Its a European, Opel-Pontiac bred, and simply the best Saturn ever. Its standard, base model options, like V6 and automatic transmission would push a comparable Camry to thousands more, and thats not including all the little things. It has recieved only rave reviews, and its striking looks rival the most expensive cars in the world. Last year Toyota had the most recalls, but the media "failed" to notice since millions would stand against them because of thier reputation. These days reputation is nothing, technology advances so fast it cant keep up. For ex: three years ago GM was one of the worst companies, now they have the most top-rated vehicles, and the quality/reliability surpasses Toyota. Honda is still on top of the reliability ratings. Ford also had more recalls than GM and DaimlerChrysler combined, for reasons like exploding engines and wheels falling off. Here is a quote from the Washington Posts review of the Toyota CAmry "one of which is the Chevrolet Malibu, which in my real-world driving experience has been every bit as good and reliable as the much-ballyhooed Camry but has been maligned primarily because it is a Chevrolet". Oddly enough that was an '04 Malibu VS the totally redisigned '07 Camry. Common problems with Toyotas are plastic rattling until it falls off. People then complain that when they take it to the dealer to be fixed they just say "The cars are made with so much plastic its practically impossible to fix" They also complain about cheap sounding stereo and useless cupholders. GM is also the worlds fastest growing manufacturer, and that dosent happen by accident. AFter second-guessing yourself many times, test drive the Saturn Aura and you'll know why its the new king of the midsize class, you will be glad you did.

I don't know anything specific about the 2007 Camry, but I have always heard that you shouldn't buy a car the first year that the model is changed because they are still working all of the kinks out of it and it is likely to have some problems. If I were you, I'd wait for the 2008 Camry.

I bought my 2004 Camry from Rice Toyota in Greensboro, NC, and I live in Florida. I found a good deal on the internet and contacted the dealership, Rice Toyota and it was legitimate. I then contacted several local dealerships - within 200 miles and none were willing to give me a deal even close to what they gave me at Rice Toyota. After all the details were worked out, I ended up buying a one way plane ticket to Greensboro, NC to sign all the paperwork and pick up my car. My sister-in-law bought the EXACT same car and paid $5,000 more for it here in Florida. It was so funny when my brother-in-law was bragging about what a great deal he worked out on their car and then when my husband and I told him how much we paid for our car his jaw dropped to the floor.

I don't know what part of the country you live in, or if they would have any special deals now, since I bought my car 2 1/2 years ago, but it's worth a try. They are one of the SouthEast's largest volume discount Toyota dealerships and are able to sell for less since they sell so many cars.
