I;m interested in purchasing a used motorcycle but I'm afraid that my size might make a lot of bikes uncomfortable to ride for any extended period of time. I'm looking for some recommendations for an entry-level sporting motorcycle for a 6'6" 220 lbs 36" inseam guy. My definition of sporting would include sport touring, standard, naked, and other/crossover categories. I would probably be looking for a 2-4 year old used motorcycle. I'm flexible on the price - say somewhere in the $3,000 to $5,000 range. I'm considering the kawasaki zzr600, honda 599/919, suzuki sv650, honda vfr 800 interceptor and am open to any other suggestions. My motorcycle use would primarily be around town but it would be nice to have something that could be used for weekend trips as well. I'm primarily looking for ergonomical and comfort reviews on these and similar bikes from guys that are similarly sized. I'm also interested in general reviews of these bikes as well. Thanks and I appreciate your responses!

[This was my first time asking this question] This is a 2000 Kawasaki KX-60 with a 2-Stoke motor. The motor has low hours. It has been sitting for approximately 2-years. Before it was stored it ran perfectly. The problem i'm having is, when i start the bike with choke, it idles and runs fine - but when i turn off the choke the bike runs for about 2-3 seconds before bogging out. I figured it must be a dirty carb...so i completely cleaned the carb and jet/pilot jet (did it twice). Unfortunately, it didn't work...the bike is still doing the same thing. I'm not sure if the reeds would potentially cause something like this - i would say "No" because the bike is only affected by the choke, so that tells me its in the carb.

[Part 2] Since asking this question, I've replaced the old fuel with fresh gas (32:1 mix) , installed a new spark plug and air filter; but the motor still bogs out with the choke off.

This is really unusual - your help is appreciated.

A long time ago, some cars had knobs so you could turn the steering wheel quickly. I never see them anymore. Are they illegal? If so, why and when did that happen?

When my car is sitting idle at stoplights it putters and idles rough and feels as if it's about to stall. When I am driving normally it is fine. Maybe I need a new fuel filter?

I'm 25 and had purchased a brand new 2006 Subaru WRX back in August. I was trading in a 1997 Honda CRV which I have had since HS. The dealer gave me a temporary title and registration and advised me that they would contact my insurance co. to let them know I had bought a new car. They said the only reason why they would call me was if my insurance co. required me to talk to them directly. A few weeks went by and since I didn't hear from them, I thought everything was OK. Last week I was driving home and a deer hit the front left fender area of my car. I filed a claim with my insurance company, but they advised that my claim had been denied because I had failed to notify them within 14 day of the purchase. I should have known better than to trust the dealer, but this was my first big purchase and besides being caught up in the excitement, I figured they knew what they were doing. My insurance co. has no record of them calling. Is there any way that I can get them to pay for the damages?

The sparkplug shot out of my 1988 Beretta. It has shot out before, so I just got a wrench and screwed it back in. Today it shot out and I cannot get it to screw back in at all. I am afraid that the grooves on the engine are stripped because other sparkplugs (new ones) will not work either. What can I do? As a last resort, my dad suggested we could use some type of cement and just permanently install the plug, as the car is old and has 140K miles.

my car's windshield seems to have a thin film of something on it so when it rains at night and I put on the wipers I can hardly see as the wipers seem to spread the film more. I use windscreen cleaning solution and all kinds of glass cleaners and nothing has worked. Even changed the wiper blades twice over 6 months.

I own an on-line motorcycle store. During winter it gets slow and that is expected.
This on the other hand is the best time for the customer to get the best deals. What gear would you like to buy on-line at 20% off during the off months?

Post up so can get it on sale!!

Come on, be honest, when you're doing work on a vehicle that's still under warranty, are you inclined to do a half-assed job because you're not being paid for it? Just curious : )

I gave my car (1983 Honda Accord) and title a year ago, to my relative and in turn he repaired it and sold it to a lady...in D.C. and even help the lady put on the new tags, ....now I got a letter from the Bladensburg Police Department (MD)saying that, VIN is listed me still as the owner of the car and it has been impounded because the VIN/tags/registration didn't match during a traffic stop.

I would have to come down the the police department, with title and proper ID and $50 for the release & can pickup the car with the release and pay towing & storage fees ($590) at Henry's Towing Company...

Its been two weeks and no one try to claim the car...I told the police I no long own the vehicle. Without a title to the car, I'm stuck.

1. What can the towing company do to me?
2. What can I do to correct this problem, the car isn't woth it, but I also don't want those towing & storage fee come back at me.
3. Someone said I could get a duplicated title & take the car back is this fraud?
