I own an on-line motorcycle store. During winter it gets slow and that is expected.
This on the other hand is the best time for the customer to get the best deals. What gear would you like to buy on-line at 20% off during the off months?

Post up so can get it on sale!!

Hey,
I don't know your market share or strategies so, this is only a simple, off season, market forecast.
I've been riding for 38 yrs (39 yrs in March) and I don't need to buy much in the off season any more so, I can only give you suggestions.
Gas stabilizers and battery tenders will sell, though there may be a problem shipping gas stabilizers.
A lot of bikers work on their bikes during the off season so, may I suggest performance, suspension and seating up grades.
Bolt on chrome goodies. for the cruiser market.
Forget tires, bikers won't re-skin their bikes if they aren't riding them.
You know the old adage; They're two kind of bikers, those who've been down and those who will go down. Ti's the season to fix. Mirrors, directionals, controls and grips should sell.
In the winter, real bikers still ride, when the opportunity presents its' self. May I suggest cold weather gear, wind shields and fairings.
May I also suggest a little vacation for yourself to someplace warm where you can re-charge your battery. Remember, bike week isn't that far off.

Take Care & Good Luck!

Hi there:
it is 430 am and I will be riding home in 1 1/2 hours. It is 29 degrees in Manassas right now.
I ride a 1500 Kaw.
I added heated electric grips
artic gloves (hippo mitts)
a Fieldsheer winter suit (non electric)
lowers (wind shields over the crash bars)
and I just got a new helmet that the whole face plate flips up.

These are the things I need this time of year.
Wish I could find reasonable priced riding boots that I can
wear at work and walk around in, I dislike dragging extra
shoes to work.

Project-type items that lay-up the cycle that I don't have time to work with during the summer. Also maybe like a storage cover, repair stand and repair things that I am always putting off.

Do you sell apparel? It's hardly on sale and people still wear the stuff during the winter.

While I no longer ride, It hasn't been a full year since I quit, Due in part to the little guy in front of me, in my pic.
I always looked for leather and chrome accessories.
plus, items like mugs and nick-nacks are always appreciated as gifts.
I would also suggest Rubber.
