I read about this new jet on the internet - it is a result of research by a consortium of scientists and experts and the like inc Boeing and MIT.
They designed a plane, the SAX-40 they call it, and it looks like a giant Stealth Bomber in my humble opinion.
Apparently it will use less fuel and be a lot quieter than today's jets.
There is just one snag - they estimate it will not be in use for another 25 years.
Why is this?

Hi, I drive a Toyota Reflect 1996 model. The car has 2 Kenwood speakers fitted in the back. Each of the speakers has 110 Watt rating and has four wires (1 Black, 1Red, 1Gray, 1 Blue), there are two pairs of wire coming out of the radio/casette-player. The car is second hand and the previous owner had probably connected the wires incorrectly. The speaker used to give screeching sounds while giving any sound output. I have rewired the speakers, and the screeching seems to be reduced. But it cannot produce the Bass like other cars of the same model. I want to know the correct wiring scheme. Please help me.

Left Speaker: 4Wires (1 Black, 1Red, 1Gray, 1 Blue)
Right Speaker: 4Wires (1 Black, 1Red, 1Gray, 1 Blue)
2 pairs of Golden wires

When you look at a number on an interstate highway sign, how do you tell which direction you're going?

How many kilometers?

Dulles to JFK? Baltimore to Boston?

Does the slope of that flight look like a triangle, with a constant rate of climb, or a parabola, with the rate of climb slowly tapering off?

So this ineffective government of ours is thinking about national road pricing, at an average of £1.35 per mile.
Is this really going solve the issues or is it simply yet another tax on the motorist?
My office is 110 miles from home, so a round trip, which I do 2-3 times a week will cost almost £300.
I certainly won't pay it, my company will, they in turn will pass that to our clients who will then pass that onto their customers, that's you lot.
The consequencies of this will be devastating, this clearly has not be thought through, no surprise there.

Your thoughts please.

a lady driver was reversing her car out and scraped her car into mine. She didnt bother getting outta the car and said get a quote and she'd pay for it. next morning i realised that there was also scratches on the rear bumper but she denies scratching the bumper..only the door arch, i got a quote for £500. she says its too much and told me to take it to one of her garage mates....he only quoted me £50 (which is a polish job). what should i do?? should i take it through insurance instead??? i dont think she wants to pay more than £100.

Apparently, I can drive someone else’s car (with exceptions, such as a car I am buying on HP) on my fully comp policy. Suppose a rich pal lent me his Ferrari, and his insurance covered only him, not “any driver”. If I tail-ended a Rolls-Royce – my fault entirely – would my insurance cover (a) repairs to the Rolls, but not the Ferrari (“third party” cover), (b) repairs to both cars (on a “fully comp” basis), or would my insurance be only basic “RTA” cover – damages for the whiplash sustained by the Rolls driver?
Further, if my pal’s policy on his Ferrari had just expired, and I parked it on the road and went into a shop, would there be no cover on it at all so that (1) an offence (untaxed car on the highway) was committed and (2) if I forgot the handbrake so that it rolled downhill into a bus queue causing injury, would my insurers pay the resulting damages claims?

Answers from those with knowledge, rather than speculation, please. I'm in the UK, so the rules elsewhere won't apply

Is'n it time for people who work for Land Rover do something to stop all this unfair attack. After all ,how long before Ford decide to move the prodution of 4x4 to another country with lower cost and higher returns, if the sale of 4x4 continue to decline in this country. Where are you going to find work?
