rear of oil pan back side center, be careful not to over tighten as i have had several customers who "used to go" to quick oil type places and they stripped the threads out of the sump this being a cast aluminum piece it is a chore to properly repair and if attempted by a hack will result in sump replacement. EXPENSIVE

If you can't get a look at a Haynes manual in an auto parts place, ask the dealership. I once had a Glastron I/O ski boat with a twin carburetor Volvo Penta. It was in the rear of the engine at bottom of the oil pan. However, the usual prcedure for that was drain the oil into the bilge, and pull the water drain plug from the boat. If you had a water leak from any where, the oil left would float up and get on anything in it's path. Yuck! They came out with an oil pump and small tube which fed down through the dip stick and would suck out the oil to a container. Good luck on that one!

If it is stripped, that's plausible it is going to leak, and/or fall out. If that occurs even as taking position the line at 70, the possibilities of blowing up the engine earlier you note the red fool mild telling you the oil rigidity has dropped are severe. So bypass see your mechanic, and characteristic the stripped one bumped off, then have a self tapping over sized one put in. difficulty solved. yet sure, that's plausible to modify motor oil without eliminating the drain plug. you may get a pump with a hose that is going into the dip stick hollow and eliminates the former oil that way. Or, (not counseled), eliminate the filter out, position a capture pan less than the filter out and run the engine only lengthy adequate to unload each and each and every of the oil out.
