Install new plugs and rotor, clean distributer cap contacts. Install new air filter- probably the most important item., and change it every 5,000 miles. They aren't very expensive.

Keep fresh oil in it, 10W-30.

Keep tires inflated to 32PSI.

Accelerate as slow as possible without giving the people behind you road rage! :-)

Keep the tires properly inflated. No check engine light on, Good tune up. Properly aligned front end. No jack rabbit starts from stops. Drive the proper speed limit.

Could also remove unwanted weight if your not using... Take the back seats and passenger seat out.. Remove spare tire and jack, etc.. ( just stay local ) Just remove heavy stuff
