Start up problem - The red light in the ignition stays on and does not recognise the key code..eventually after a dozen attempts it does start. Cannot fix problem myself because all keys have code.. anyone familiar with this problem? How much will it cost to fix and what is causing this?

i do not have enough right now. im wondering how i should finance. i got 5000$ and only make 730$ a month(part time 17 hrs
). i can spend all my money on the car becuase i dont pay for living expense. im only 20 years old. i dont plan on getting another job because of college. wha would be a good downpayment area?

Our tie rod end broke and the serpentine belt slipped off, but we were able to get the belt back on. Just wondered if it was okay to drive less than 10 miles to the repair shop or if I needed to have it towed. Thanks!

My local VW Service garage has told me that when they change the steering rack on my 1992 VW T4 (with power steering), they must also change the 4 bushes. Is this really neccessary?

I have to take my permit test, but I was wondering if you can download the DMV book online or get it from any local store other than the DMV? Its just that the DMV is so damn impossible with its hours by closing early and not being open on weekends so I was wondering if thats possible.

But most likely with my luck, the book is probably only available at my local DMV huh....
