Yes, if you swap in an STI motor (short block) and use the WRX accessories you could buy and use STI power packages.

The first package you'd have to buy would be to upgrade your ECU to STI level maps. You'll also need to upgrade a few other components to get your car from WRX level up to STI power levels. The most expensive will be the Turbo and the intercooler. There will still be a few KEY things your car will be missing: Brembo brakes, Intercooler spray, DCCD, and the stiff STI suspension.

Unless you really like something about your car better than the STI (Like the look or something) it's cheaper to buy an STI. Unless of course you just want the power, but not the handling of the STI, in that case go for it.

ALSO... Yes the Stock WRX transmission will bolt right up to the STI 2.5L turbo block, BUT it is much weaker so you'll have to be careful with it.

Also will the trans bolt up to the new motor? It would be better to buy a car with the 2.5 already in it.
By the time you change it all over and pay for the labor to convert it if you can get it to work then and only then you might be able to get the power package to work

you will ought to drill 11 holes on your trunk to mount the STI spoiler or something like5 extra in case you have a WRX spoiler. in any different case you will hit upon somebody on line that would wat to commerce trunks with you. Many STI proprietors want to get rid of their wing and are keen to commerce in case your trunk is in reliable shape. Be arranged to inform human beings your motor vehicle isn't in all probability an STI and you purely want it to look as though one. now not something funnier than a poser.
