My car will not start and someone said it is probably the control module and I have no idea where that is. Thanks.

Before you start throwing parts at the car, test to see if it is the ignition control module. It could be a common part that fails and this person is correct, but I always like to test for things first. A Spark tester is only a few dollars and easy to use. I would also check for fuel pressure at the rail. Also you can test the Power Transistor using a 1.5 (AA or AAA battery) battery and an Ohmmeter. it's located on the intake manifold next to the distributor.

Remove the connector, There should only be 3 pins so it should be easy. Touch the positive lead to #2 and the negative to #3 with the Ohmmeter. There should be no continuity and you should see OL for out of limits.

Do the same thing, but touch the positive lead of the battery to terminal #1 & the negative to terminal #2 and now you should see continuity.

It's a switching device used by the ECM and over $100 so you might want to test it first. This only applies if you have the 3.0L SOHC. I hope this helps.
