I have a 95 Toyota Corolla and recently changed the water pump and timing belt. Now, 2 months later it's making funny noises. It's happening more often and I don't know what it is or if it's related to the new upgrades. The noise sounds like soft firecrackers (rumbling) and seems to come from the passenger side dash board. I makes this noise when the car is on and not moving and also when I'm driving it around town. When I drove it on the freeway it didn't make that noise. I opened the hood to check to see where the noise was coming from but I couldn't hear it even though the car was running and my roomate who was sitting inside on the driver side heard it.

ok, I have a 1995 Cadillac Deville, It has Traction Control installed in it. However, when i press the button to enable Traction control, nothing happens, and when the car is normally on, the digital dash says "Traction Control Disabled". Second question is the ABS light is on, the car is equipped with brand new brakes, pads, rotors and lines so why is the light on? Help would be great

My daughter has a 2001 Ford Escape and there is a white wire that is not connected to anything, it is just wrapped around the coolant overflow hose. There is a black wire also, but that one is going to into the back of the engine somewhere. they are associated with the Engine coolant switch and the Idle air control valve and some other sensor by the MAF. I believe this is causing her cold engine stalling problem. I have a wireing diagram but don't no much about it. I think it should be hooked up to the PCM. Help

ok, well after getting a quote for myself, then another one for me if i was a women, the difference was £1000. So here are a few things I would like to know, or where i might be able to find the following;

(approx.)

1. how many men drive?
2. how many women drive?
3. The number of car accidents men have per year?
4. The number of car accidents women have per year?

more of a random thing now but,
5. who was the person that said it was ok for insurance companies to be sexiest?

I brought my car to "car toys" to have a box rebuilt to allow for more space. They "had to" re-wire" the car which ended up frying my amp twice. The box they built was nothing like what I asked for. they were pricy as hell and talked **** all day about the first guy who wired it (who just so happened to win better then 30 car audio comps). In the end everything was blammed on a type of sub that has not had problems since I re did all the wiring myself. anyone else have problems like this with them?

People, we know you are turning when you are already in the bay! How about giving us some heads up and turn your blinker on letting us know you are going to turn into the bay BEFORE you turn into it? Think a little harder and the concept of the blinker will hopefully come to you!!

We are trying to decide which one to get. The blazer has 90,000 km and the sante fe has 34,000 km. They are both loaded. They are considerably different in price. The sante fe is $23,000 and the blazer is 16,990. Just wondering your thoughts on the better buy, not just money-wise but general opinion on the different brand and style. Thanks

Hi all, I am having a problem with my 97 Explorer's air conditioning. I have spent close to $1000 on it over the last year but I think I was ripped off by the shop. They put in a new condensor and a new evaporator, the compressor is good. So why does the air just stop all of a sudden when its running. It just starts to get regular air. If I shut the a/c off for a few minutes it sometimes comes back on and works fine, but this is happening too often and I live in florida and you have to have air. Also sometime the air just runs on regular a/c not on the max setting. The max setting alot of the time doesn't even work correctly. Any ideas? Thanks alot, John
