I bought a 125cc bike for myself to use, and my fiance to learn on, its regestered in her name, as i have a few other vehicles, she text me the other night to tell me it was over, and has not only told me she is keeping my bike, but has padlocked it to her garage floor. i have proof of purchase, so i know the bike is legally mine, despite what i read on other postings(iv seen lawyer so i know where i stand) but the padlock thing is a new development, can i damage or take bike with padlock? im now worried i can get arrested for stealing, or damaging goods over this dam lock and chain? she is away, and i have access to my old garage, so im not breaking and entering, its not fair that she dumps me out of the blue, AND keeps my new bike

Help...........thanks all

Anti-roll bar stops the end that sits in the chassis mount from sitting straight, it sits slightly at an angle so it's impossible to get the bolt through, got it in on the other side with brute force but is there any easier way?

i was told that if you yse it you need used oil and have to mix it with a solvent after filtering it,but he uses new oil bought in bulk puts £5 worth of diesel into his car and then tops it up with the new oil. he says he has been doing it for 3yrs and never had a problem, but is this method ok to do. i was also led to believe that you had to pay the chancellor £xxx amount of money for the tax (as your using free used oil) but he says as he is paying for the oil (a lot cheaper than diesel he says) he doesnt have to pay anything to the goverment. is he true on both accounts or has he been missled????

ok, this guy installed a new audio system in my car and three cables came out of the amp today. There is a black and red one and i'm guessing that they go to the - and + slots... black= - right??

then there was a blue wire that came out as well. There are 3 empty slots that it can go in.... R- , L- or REM. Which one should it go in?

should i disconnect the car battery while doing this? give me some tips about what i should and shouldnt do, i want to learn!

What's an easy way to keep the wire's in place? is it safe to drive around with those wires unplugged??

please answer if you know what to do.

ten points to whoever gives me the best answers.

I need a small family car, whch will need to take one adult, 3 children (one who is tall, the others still in car seats) plus room for weekly shopping and pushchair.

This is a second car as I already have a company car to use during the week and can use at the weekends.

So, I need something for my partner and kids, which is reliable, fairly spacious; economical and not costing a fortune. I don't want a new car; second hand will do, and I have a budget of around £4,000 (providing the credit comes through....)

NB No Ford Fiestas or anything by Vauxhall, please; five times bitten, six times shy....!

I was a named driver on my parents car. I was involve in an accident in march and the claim is still be disputed. Neither me or the other driver are accepting responsability for the accident. I had no damage to my car but the other car had £700 worth. I am now looking to get my own insurance. Do i have to say i have been involved in an accident if it was on my parents policy? The claim still has not been settled.

We have just moved to Spain and we live in the mountains. We intend to do a LOT of driving so we need a very very economical car which can cope with steep inclines. As it will be a business car and we will often have guests we would like a 4 door executive style car like a BMW or the like but perhaps smaller as I am used to smaller cars (Laguna etc). We have just bought a PT Cruiser which is lovely but it cannot cope with the mountain drive and it drinks so much petrol it is bankrupting us. Can anyone recommend anything from personal experience? Thanks!

my dad, whom was operating the vehicle, was driving along a two way block and then we noticed a car started to accelerate rather quickly burning out their tires and then veered onto oncoming traffic the last second. My dad slammed the brakes, basically came to a complete stop, but the other car collided head on with our 2005 nissan altima at appoximately 45 miles per hour. the air bags did not deploy and there wasn't any serious injuries. my dad might have injured his hand with the impact to the steering wheel but its probably just bruised up. as for servicing the vehicle, it was always serviced at a nissan dealership so that basically rules out any tampering with the airbag or its sensor. Although possibly, i would assume its highly unlikely. As for damage to the car, it isn't totaled but the front is smashed up pretty bad and i would assume that with an impact of around 45 miles per hour, the airbags should have deployed since the collision was head on
