easy problem, easily solved. it is your freon level. his does not need to be fixed in a garage, in fact, you can do it yourself, for under $20. first, head out to the local wal mart, or car parts dealer, and pick up a bottle of R-134a refrigerant. there are directions on the container explaining how and where to rechsarge the refrigerant. the whole processs takes ten minutes. max. hope this helps.

Consider these things
1. Try cleaning the condenser which is just below the radiator. If you take the car to a car washing center just pay them to Rs. 10 spray water to clean the condenser, since it works like radiator lots of insects and mud farming on the condenser would affect the cooling effect.
2. Check the Gas pressure with some AC mechanic, if it is less than the mesure you should pay Rs. 450 for topup.
3. There could be an issues with the cooling fan behind the radiator which may again give a nagative effect on your AC performance due to overheat in the engine which may cause temprature inside the cabin.
4. Finally ask the AC mech. to check for leak in the Gas lines if the gas level is frequently going down, otherwise the compressor may needs your attention.

sounds like the Freon level is low, when you turn the a/c on can you hear the compressor come on? The simple way is to start the car up and then turn the a/c on and go out and open the hood up and look for the a/c compressor and see if the center part of the pulley is turning . If it is turning and not stopping and starting every ten seconds then you probably have other problems and need to take it to a repair man, if it is stopping and starting then your freon is just low and you can add a can to the low port and then it should be alright.

Agreed with the above. A recharg will probably fix it, but you may have a leak. If you have a leak you will need to have that fixed too or you will keep needing the recharge. There are other AC performance issues, but low on refrigerant is the most common. And, let me be clear, AC systems are sealed systems, so ideally they should not need recharged. Hence you probably have a leak!
Good luck!

Most cars have see thru glass to see the Freon dripping. It is there then owners book will show where. Have the air conditioning unit serviced at a garage do not run the air conditioner in the mean time, turn it off.

pretty simple. you have a leak in your ducting system, a very common maruti problem, and the charge (freon gas) has leaked out. Any A/c overhauling mechanic can fix this for you.
Apart from the repair charges, a single gas recharge will cost you upwards of Rs.700.

Sounds like the AC unit may need to be recharged. Most garages can do this
