I had a new carb put on my 1987 Dodge Dakato and a new battery, also my motor has been rebuilt, and it is still hard to start in the mornings. Someone, help me please!

I was just told that the cause of my brakelights not turning off was a bad brakelight switch. I picked-up a replacement for the switch, but I am clueless on how to replace it. I have found guides online, but none of them for my car. I have a 1988 Honda Civic with automatic transmission and the hatchback body type. Can anyone lend me a hand. Also, if it is possible, provide visuals. I'm not a "car" person, but I follow directions well, so with much details provided, I can replace it easily. Thanks to anyone who can help.

i have a 2005 pontiac grand prix i set the alarm last night and my car was keyed why didnt the alarm go off? did i set it wrong ?
i used my remote key fob. i heard the horn go off red light was on on the dash. so i assumed the alarm was set fine? damn now i have $1200. in damage and im wodering why the damn alarm didnt go off??

In more detail, when at a 4 way traffic light, if a car is making a left and a car is going straight, the driver going straight has the right of way. I'm really wanting to know why does the driver going straight just sit there like the person going left should be the one going first?

My girlfriend owns a 2000 Kia Sephia. Today I parked her car into the driveway and noticed that the shifter was very stiff she stated that it has been like that for a while. When she started the car it would not until she moved the gear selector back and forth and eventually got it started into neutral but then placed it into park and went in to let the car warm up (Canada weather) After a few minutes the car rolled back and hit a trailer. Does anyone know how much this type of repair(not the bodywork) would cost? Any help would be great.

Yo, who thinks that ford should bring back the EXCURSION!!?? I just turned 16 and for my birthday my dad bought me one!!! its the sweetest vehicle ever, my friend just got a suberban for his birthday (cuz there a chevy family... BLAHHH!!!) and it does not handle as nice or look as cool as an excursion!!! when i found out that they quite making them i was devestated!!! i thought they would be arround FOREVER!!! now my friend gives me crap because my SUV is old and his is new (even though there the same year) but my excursion always kicks his a$$ in a race..lol

but if you own an excursion please tell me what you think about them, and if ford should bring them back :( (even though im sure they wont) mine is a 2005 white limited addition with a diesel engine V8!!

I got a no insurance ticket about 2-2 1/2 years ago along with a no registration ticket. The car wasn't mine and I didn't know that the car had no insurance/registration.
I live in Illinois by Chicago, so it may be different.
I just found out that they suspended my license about 3-4 months ago, because I never went to court for the tickets.

i got my alternator recoiled basically it was reconditioned as it wasnt charging heres the annoying bit i put the alternator back on my tranny and started it up and the battery light was still on gave it a revving stayed on again so i bridged the blue wire on the alternator and touched the + on the battery and then it started charging if i leave the bridge wire on the battery overnight it flattens my battery so i put it on a switch in the cab i start the tranny press the switch it alternates and coz the switch is a dooor bell type switch it releases itself but this is getting annoying does anyone have any idea as to what is happening and how i fix it all the help i can get will be great cheers

145,000 km (90K mi approx) on my Nissan Sentra. Today, the "service engine soon" light was flashing, car was idling irregularly (& "missing"), and slow on acceleration. Dealership advised car cannot be driven. It's been towed for inspection tomorrow a.m., and I am concerned this might be timing belt/chain (which is it on the SE 2.0 liter model?). Car has been making ticking noise now for several months, & one mechanic advised it is the timing belt(?) (without doing anything more than listening to engine). Can this be a timing belt/chain issue? What else might I expect?
