ok, how do i increase the speed of my go cart without replacing the engine or spending like 2500 for a super charger or u no, like pleasee!!help me

it has a chain and belt drive system, its a new and VERY hight proformace go cart, i liek to race it and want more speed

CAN SHAVE HEAD , INCREASE COMPRESSION. PULL PLUG, USE HEAVY DUTY DRILL MOTOR TO SPIN MOTOR. USE HACK SAW TO CUT DOWN FINS ON FLYWHEEL. GET OFFSET KEY,ADVANCE TIMING.

First of all, a bigger engine isn't really going to make it go faster, not enough that you are going to notice. It will only give it more power. It depends on whether its chain driven or belt driven. If it is chain driven, you will put a better gear on the engine, and a smaller gear on the wheel. The theory is when the engine is going the engine will rotate once and the wheel will rotate 2 or 3 times to the engines one stroke. Same as with belt driven better pulley on the engine, and smaller on the wheel.

make the go lighter and you should get more speed upon starting. this will give you a head start.
