The alarm in your car probably doesn't have a "shock" sensor. If it had a shock sensor, moving, jarring or even bumping the car (in some cases) would trigger the alarm.

I had an aftermarket alarm in a car that would go off every time a truck or airplane passed by. Needless to say it was very sensitive. Most stock or factory alarms only cover things like doors, trunk, or hood being opened. If auto theft/vandalism is a real problem where you live, you may consider an aftermarket alarm with features like shock sensors, jacking sensors, motion and glass breakage sensors. It can get expensive though. You may also check with your auto insurance company, sometimes they will give you a discount for such security systems.

As for getting your car keyed, sorry to hear about that.

because the alarm only goes of when the door is opend or the car is started w/out the key and the alarm i still active...since it's an 05, it might go of when the glass is broken too...it's an anti-theft device...not a viper alarm system....sorry bout ur luck.
