i own a 96 cutlass supreme and i wanna put some 22 inch rims on in how would i do ot of ots a fwd car i was told some coilovers but on universalcarlifts.com they offer a fwd lift kit

I was driving my van and all of a sudden the check gauge light came on and the temp. gauge on the inside read HOT. I have no heat now. Also, the van did not overheat under the hood. I have anti-freeze in it so that was okay. I am a female and I don't want to get ripped off when I take it in for repair tomorrow(Tues.10/24/06) Please, Please, Please any ideas?????

This bike is fast , I take off from red light hit second before end of intersection and I am hiting 50 to 60 mph in seconds ,is this normal ? crotch rockets beat me but cruisers take forever to catch back up , is this the way these bikes run are do I just have a unnormally fast bike ,Peace

hey guys, i just bought a used 94 Cadillac Deville. It had set for over a year with about 3 gallons of gas in it, so I expected it to run a little rough till I got all of the old out. Well its been a week now and its still running rough, sometimes the engine will start to miss badly, sometimes so bad i cant accelerate over 15-20 mph. But ive found that if I pull over and turn the ignition off, then immediatly restart the engine, the missing goes away and the car runs fine the rest of the way to my destination. Does anyone have any insight to why this may be happening? I figured plugs, wires, 02 sensor, a number of things it could be, but why after I restart the engine, it runs fine? Also, i noticed today my cat. convertor has a small split in the side, causing it to be very LOUD, im getting that fixed tomm. So, any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is a 1997 mitsubishi eclipse rs and i bougth DC headers and cat-back exhaust, do i still have to buy a catalytic converter or do those two performance parts make the catatalytic converter not be used or if i install the two am i going to be left with a stock catalytic converter?????????

What could be causeing this. If you push back the gear shift the reverse lights go off! It only does it in 5th gear!

I'm mainly asking this b/c I'm considering fighting a recent speeding ticket. All 4 tires are over 40K in mileage, but the rear ones are worse- they are balding. The reading I got for the rear tires was 23. The front was over 30. Is this in itself bad? Could my tires really blow out, especially if I were speeding? Thanks!

I was told that loud pipes save lives on a bike. I own a 2005 zx10r and can't afford a nice exhaust right now. It has a muzzy pipe on it now, (which is ok) but the one I really want cost about $1000.00. Can I not use a muffler at all and if so, will this take away from its performance?

I am a new driver, and this is going to sound weird, but on the highway, I am having trouble changing lanes to the right. I have no problems doing it to the left though. I look in the mirrors, and I see both headlights, but the cars seem so close and I am scared to get over. I bought this 400cc CBR from a friend. He purchased the bike in Michigan with a title, but never changed it to his name. In his move to Florida he lost the title and does not know the last owners name. I contacted the state of Michigan and they say I don't have a good VIN. number, but this Jap. bike only has a 11 digits. When I went to the DMV here, the little fat lady said they can't do anything for me and called for the next person in line.
Somebody help me!
