This bike is fast , I take off from red light hit second before end of intersection and I am hiting 50 to 60 mph in seconds ,is this normal ? crotch rockets beat me but cruisers take forever to catch back up , is this the way these bikes run are do I just have a unnormally fast bike ,Peace

Those other cruisers must not be trying race you. I assembled at test rode several of these at the dealer I worked at and they are not fast at all. In fact they felt weak to me. They don't rev high enough. Put it up against something like a Kawasaki Vulcan 750 or a Honda Magna both of which are cruisers and you'll see what I'm talking about...Don't get me wrong though they are very popular and very durable...

Your bike is fast compaird to smaller cc bikes and economy cars, but naturally sluggish in speed compaired to a sport bike. As for your getting up to 60 by the next intersection, a sports car with manual shift, will perform the same way if you were to step on the gas and rev it to red-line.

Sounds like yer just a little heavy on the throttle. My wife rides an Aero. Good little bike.She can stay with me on my 1300 Retro unless I get throttle happy. Ain't no contest then.
