I have trouble with a loud groaning noise coming from somewhere in the front of the car when both the AC and the CD player is on. It's worse when accelerating through the first couple of gears. This is in a 2004 Pontiac Sunfire. Is this normal?

we built a chevy small block 350 to go into a street rod, after trying to start it (minimal difficulties) she started, we turned it off and did it again a little while later. Only this time, while cranking it started to make a LOUD "knocking noise" (coming from the engine) about 4 times a second. The engine still started but continued/continues to make the noise. I havent gotten a chance (at the cabin for the last week) to tear into the motor yet and have been mulling the situation over. Any ideas as to what the noise may be/what may be causing the noise.
*One thought is that it a rocker could be too tight/the rod is down too far and is getting hit. But idk if that would be as loud as the sound actually is*

colorado law supposedly says you must have a front license plate on your vehicle in the state of colorado. Well, what about the vehicles who's manufacturer does not put one on the vehicle. It is a older vehicle not to worried about the holes but its just the point of it all. anyone who knows for sure please help cause i am willing to fight this ticket. I just need to know the law.

Ok first off maybe I should explain my current situation, im 19 with $3,000 in my pocket and I want to buy a car. My neighbor is selling his 1991 560SEC for $2,500. We live in wisconin and there seems to be a tiny bit of rust above the left rear tire, and the car needs a new set of tires. My dad being the little evil asain man that he is, is advising that i should pass and possibly buy something like a used accord. Claming that maintenace on a almost 20yr old merc is going to kill my unemployed butt! Plus im going to college so its like ugh will i really need it? Anyway not buying a car is not a option, and I really love the CL655 and the SEC does remind me of a ancient variation of one (they both have no B pillar) should I buy??

I came up with clay mockups and a plastic model for my concept. I can't seem to get a car builder to return my emails. I don't have the money to build it myself.

I have a 2003 Ford Explorer that I need serviced at its 60,000 mile mark. Rather than taking it to the dealer and getting cleaned out, I was wondering if anyone knew a reputable mechanic in the Pensacola area that wouldn't rip me off and do a great job.

Using a ten scale, rate how much this annoys you. ( 1 being not at all, 10 being to the core of your existence)

You are 2nd in line at a light that just turned red. Even thought the light has been red for only 3 seconds, the guy in front of you finds it necessary to move his car forward two and a half inches. Who cares right? But then he does it two more times within ten seconds!!! Jeez, guy what is your problem?! These miniscule forward movements obviously have no purpose, you will not reach your destination any sooner employing this strange tactic.

Wooo! Sorry, I replied to my own question, just gotta vent, it really peeves me. So, how much does this annoy you? (10 scale, and any extra info.)

I'm looking for something that's comfortable, something I can get to work and back without being in this cramped little thing. I want good fuel economy, since my work is 15 miles away from home. Also, I want to be able to get around the cities comfortably. Nothing like a Benz, or anything like that. It can be up to V6 and no lower than 4 Cylinders. I'm thinking something like a Volvo, Audi, Subaru, Chrysler, BMW or something like that. 4 door sedan, moderate trunk space, not too small, but I don't want a huge thing (my driveway is small) cluttring up my garage.
