It does not do this every time but frequent enough to be very aggrivating. I put it in gear it still runs good most of the time but when i start to accelerate it dies. Then is hard starting and you have to choke it to get it to start even with the engine warm. I have done all the basics i can think of. Rebuilt both carbs, new plugs,fuel filter, recently had to put an ignition module on it.

If anyone can help I would much appreciate it. Thanks ahead.

Most people my age rush out to get their licenses, I however, could have had it nearly a year ago. I have been struggling from the day i got my permit to get over this fear of driving, but every time i get behind the wheel, or even think about it, i tense up and panic. The lack of control you have while on the road scares the hell out of me, and my parents and friends certainly haven't been helping with the excessive pressure. I know i'm missing out on alot of things due to my lack of license, and i certainly want to learn how to drive, but I'm so uncomfortable with it. I notoriously do not get along with my parents, and have no one else willing to teach me. Tips? Advice?

89 Civic 16 valve Auto 200+miles (not sure how correct that is), Bone stock.

Two days ago I was driving up a hill and my car began to shake really hard and struggled to go over 40 mph up the hill. I stopped at the nearest stop light and it shaked so bad that it seemed like it was going to knock off right there if I didn't give it gas. Came home, went to change the spark plug wires and noticed there was Oil in the #3 cylinder. I automatically think it's the cylinder seals and go order some new ones, come back two days later and take out the other spark plugs to see what condition they're in, spark plug in cylinder #2 has burnt oil on it and some oil around it. I clean everything up and replace the seals. Put the new wires on and start it up, nothing has changed. It's idling way too low and feeling like it's going to knock off everytime I come to a stop, slow down, or go in reverse. I don't know what else to check! Anyone willing to help a new civic owner?

I have a petreol powered car and need to replace its worn out turbo, I happen to have a turbo from a diesel cat gathering dust. Research so far shows that the diesel turbo will produce 8 psi of boost without modification whereas the turbo on my produced 5 psi before I modified it to run at around 8 psi.
I ask the question because petrol cars reach higher revs and reach them faster than diesels.So would the tubo be spinning faster than it is designed to if used on a petrol engine?

The temp gage went all the way to "H" but the engine didn't die. Is it O.K. to drive it to the service station which is a mile away or should I have it towed? If I drive it that distance will I ruin the engine?

1) Parking brake light not always coming on, or has a slight delay,
when brake is engaged. Sometimes have to do it a second time.
Appears to be working, though. I've drifted back and vehicle stops when engaged.
2) Driver's side seat belt not staying latched. Slips out. Spring appears to be broken. Is this something I could fix myself or does the entire seat belt assembly have to be replaced?

I reported to my insurance company. But since she has insurance and it is her fault. I have to deal with her insurance company. They say that they can't get a hold of the lady that I got into an accident with. Then they say if she never reports it then the claim gets thrown away. So then what do I do? I have also filed a motorist report.
