Hyundai Sonata review?

I have never owned a Sonata. How are they? where are good sites to find reviews?

I just bought a 2006 and am very happy with it. I couldn't buy a comparable car for the same money anywhere.
I also have a 2003 that I am very happy with. Never had a problem with the dealer doing warranty work and it has never had a problem. There are many people that say negative things about Hyundai and yes there was a time that they were crap. However, they have earned a good reputation in the last few years and are very comparable to other cars on the market.
Just remeber there used to be people blasting Hondas and Toyotas. Where are these people now? They own Hodas and Toyotas and are blasting Hyundai!
I do feal that Honda and Toyota are better than a Hyundai but Hyundai is better than a Chevy or Ford. So for the price I went with Hyundai.

Hyundai Sonata, no matter what year model, have chronic problems with the power window motors burning out. The 4cyl. engine seems to be far more reliable than any V6 ever offered in a Sonata. Expect transmission failure before the 100,000 mile mark. Build quality is good. Safety is mediocre at best, unless you're talking about the current generation of Sonata. For the cost of a used Sonata, there are better cars out there. Hyundais are very pricey to repair.

Your Sonata will drive like a charm one minute , then stop dead in traffic the next . Very unreliable . I've never seen a car that can break down in so many ways -with absolutely no warning . The fun begins when you try to get Hyundai Motor America to honor their warranty-or extended warranty ...You don't know hell till you own a Hyundai .

i test drove the new 06-07 style..there VERY nice..very comparable to my moms accord.
peppy too..i havent heard any problems occuring with them yet
