Ok i have this question in my head. back in the 1800's some time thier was a race with 2 automobile powered by steam and such. well in recent years thier has been other auto power by eletricity. i guess im asking what if back in the 1800 when eletricity came out or the steam powered car was recearched more where would we find ourselves today? Corprate oil is the main blaim to why these other technology were not researched more.

Every time my car goes to the garage to have a service, the techies advise me that I should have more work done on it - the latest is that my brake discs are very worn.

It may well be the case, as the last set were put on many '000s of miles ago. But how can I tell? What should I look for? At the moment, they look shiny and nice... but that doesn't necessarily mean anything!

I got severly screwed. I bought a car , used, and got screwed. Had a friend look at the paper work, he told me i got screwed for the price, the amount I am paying and for the months I am paying for (72) I have had this car for 10 mos. I want to trade it in, for another used car or maybe a cheap new car. I got ripped to shreds. Loan is for 20K for 7 f'n years at $391 a month which i'd end up paying about 27K in the end. I want to get rid of it, but I dont want to to have to owe anything if i give it up now and get a cheaper vehicle maybe paying about 250 bucks a month. I dont know what to do, because I am unsure if I am going to get screwed if i try and give this car to a dealership for a new car. Does the dealership pay off the loan? Do i owe an *** load of money if i trade it in for a greatly cheaper vehicle??? I dont know how this works?!!! I need help.

My exhaust pipe is becoming loose- when I start the engine I can hear it rattling. Is it a difficult job to tighten it up? How much should I be expecting to pay to get the work done? Or is it easy to do myself (without a pit)?

I bought a used vehicle and before I had added it to my current auto insurance policy I was pulled over for an expired registration. The car had been sitting before I aquired it. My insurance policy was current and covered two other vehicles with liability only. On my proof of insurance card it states that it may provide coverage for other persons and other vehicles as provided by the insurance policy. I cannot find any reference to this in my policy or on line. My insurance is with Farmers.

I have a 05 midnight roadstar and want to put on the 17" kong bars, and would like to know what the lenght cables over stock with the stock risers, would I need?
