Racing is a tough sport, expensive and can be painful. For the most part the racing crowd is a good group but keep your ego in check and temper cool. Remember, no matter how good you are, there is always someone better.

Keep it clean, keep it friendly but most of all keep it safe.

Race Clean

Ask your parents if they have suggestions, especially if either has an interest in motorcycle racing. Check your school counselors and other sources within your school. Look in local newspapers and magazines for articles of similar interest. Check local newspaper or other media staff to see if they might have ideas. Check motorcycle shops and stores. With parents' permission, check out the Internet, especially message boards, etc.., in your area. Check with your police or law enforcement agencies, especially if they use motorcycles. Your library might also be a good source of information. If there is no easily found information source, you might consider setting up a website, with parents' permission, and possibly a forum or blog. You can probably find people interested in the same things in which you are interested and those who want to help you learn to race safely and correctly. You might even be able to find sponsors. Good luck and remember to always use safety equipment and drive responsibly.

I started racing when I was 12, in the old days before you dressed like a Imperial Guard in Star Wars. Belive me kid......it is not all it is cracked up to be. It is a expensive hobby for the desire to win a $25.00 crap dust collecting trophy. Try it for a season, if your not placing in the top 5 in 70% of your races, try a new sport.

The only tips I can give you that relate to Motorcycle racing from Stock Car racing, is don't give up. It will be hard and you most likely won't win but just remember you are a "Racing driver" and always will be.
