One item of consideration is your age and your education level -- no, I'm not saying you have to be an adult or older to get anywhere, nor am I saying you need a PhD. If you're still in school or college an excellent source of information and suggestions is often your school counselors. You might also contact the SBA and SCORE for ideas. SCORE stands for Senior Citizens Organization of Retired Executives and they've generally "been there and done that". You might get some excellent ideas. Even if you currently are not in an education program, you might still contact your local college or university. If nothing else you might be able to get some help from students looking for extra credit. Good Luck.

You won't. I came up with an off the shelf fuel filter system for the 1983-1986 Ford diesel p/u and the engineer from Ford verified that it worked flawlessly.
They were having problems with the water separators going bad and the cost was horrendous to replace them. My replacement cost: .75 hrs of time and $35.00 in parts. The Ford separator cost $125.00 plus .5 hrs in time. But my fix was a "not invented here" thing and Ford would not even consider it, so said the engineer. They did however incorporate a few of my diagnosis procedures into the service manual as it saved them some money- and they did not have to pay for it.
If you want to design cars, get a degree and go to work for the auto makers. Nissan is considered to have one of the best design teams in the market. Also, be sure to patent and copyright your work in case it does find its way into a maker's design team. That way you will get some pay for your idea.

If you have only gone to the large auto manufacturers you have a better chance of success of at least being considered by a smaller company. The smaller the better. Even some good local machine shops might be worth a try to get a working, sellable prototype made. Just make sure you get them to sign some disclosure statements.

That dude happening about islam.. scary. merely in respond to what he suggested.. Christianity also believes that if a baby dies they're going to bypass to heaven, definite they're born into sin yet they're too youthful to understand it. the unique sin is what forged us out of Eden. So in case you had a baby, that kid wont be born contained in the backyard of Eden because you stay contained in the international. the price we pay on the prompt is for each of the sin we commit now. yet, in probability of sounding preachy, i'm merely attempting to respond to your question from a christian standpoint.. Jesus got here and paid the price. the price has been paid. imagine you're in courtroom and also you owe a million money, then some stranger walks in and fingers the choose a million money. Will you enable that stranger walk lower back out and under no circumstances thank him or develop into his pal? No, in case you cared and were grateful you would chase after him and get to charm to close him. it really is kinda what christianity is all about. Jesus paid the price for the unique sin, and we are thanking him for it.
