What are the off-road, four stroke, ktm motorcycles that are comparable in reliability and power to the Honda xr 400, 600?

All the KTM 4stroke bikes are high performance, comparing them to the XR line from Honda is apples and oranges. The KTM requires a lot of maintainance compared to the XR engine which is nearly bullet proof. Reliability isn't really an issue if you do the up keep, but the Honda requires almost nothing but oil changes and a clean air filter.

KTM's are great handling, powerful racing bikes, and well made, but none of them are going to be as reliable as a Honda. Pound for pound, and dollar for dollar I'd say the Hondas are a better value. Honda makes more internal combustion engines than any other company on the planet. They are clean, reliable, and powerful.
