If someone is selling a piece of property, and the single wide mobile home is condemned, and she stills owes 52,000 on the property, will the Bank she has financed this property thru, call the loan in (take the loan back) because it is condemned. She is not behind in her payments, but the land is only worth 17,000 and the single wide mobile home is attached to it but condemned. Can she move the swmh off the land because it is condemned even though she owes 52,000. thank you.

My wife and I went and saw a beautiful house today, but the Appraisal price (according to the county) is 50k less than the asking price.

The house actually seemed under-priced, so I'm wondering what that could all mean. It feels like a big red flag, but we couldn't figure out why.

Can I get a loan through a US bank or do I have to obtain financing through a bank in the country from which I purchase? Are there other financing options?

My husband and I are both teachers and would like to participate in HUD's "Good Neighbor Next Door" program where you can buy a house at 50% the value if you are a teacher and live in it for at least 3 years. Has anyone done this or had experience with HUD in the past? Is it a legit thing?

I prefer meeting people in person initally or at the very least, after a short acquaintance with them online (not just anybody (dangerous) but employers or potential networkers and the like) so I don't want to get with someone online who's in Arizona or Texas when I am in VA and travel to meet them afterwards but I may have to do that. I am not sure exactly about the geographic location or the house that I want, and am open to getting acquaintances first to look together with same preferences.
With my local housemate/roomate finding services (online and offline), is there implication that they are looking for local houses only or are they open to out of state ones?

My live-in boyfriend and I are getting ready to put our house on the market. I have lived in this house for 10 years, and Josh moved in about 5 years ago. At about the same time that Josh moved in, a repairman was checking out the crawl space under the house when he found a dead body. It was very old, and I had never detected an odd smell, so we never noticed it. My question is when we put the house up for sale, should we mention this? It seems like old history to me, but Josh is superstitious and thinks the house may be haunted, so we should tell them. Should we?

Thanks a bunch

I was 2 wks late paying my lease termination fee and now that I have paid in full, they said my status won't reflect it til I ask the credit bureau to do so. But, I am currently applying for a new apartment. I did not list my old apt as a reference. Should I tell them what happened now and show them the letter that I was paid in full or wait til they run my credit check and ask about it?

I placed an ad on a website saying I was interested in a property for two people, I then had an email from a landlord who said he had some properties, there is one which I really want to take, but he said he had a policy of hiring muslim-tenants only.

Since I am Muslim and my friend isn't I wanted to know can landlords legally discriminate in this?

The land was leased for 25 years, with option to renew lease after 25 years. Because of typo error, there is confusion as to who has the right of renewal, Lessor or Leasee. Now the land lord wants use his option and refusing renewing of the lease.

Hi everyone
I need some urgent help...and soon.

I am about to sublet this place for 2 months from a person
who lives in a tenement building in Manhattan.
I went and saw it last night and it's ok...
the problem is the person acts kind of shady -
he lyed that he owns the place
wants the entire amount upfront in cash
doesn't show any Id ...
so I am a bit nervous...
Should I go ahead and give him the money and hope
nobody comes and kicks me out in a few days ...?
or should I keep looking ?

What's your take on this ?

Any help greatly appreciated

Can I get out of this and then get the lower rate? Supposedly with my application I signed something that locked me in at that rate. I cant see how they would let me get the lower rate now, since they protected me from getting a higher rate. How often do these rates change?!

I have searched Craigslist and the Seattle Times. Many of them do not have photos.......or any pertinent info i.e. washer/dryer. I would like to avoid the "large" apartment complexes as well. They tend to have too much crowding, noise and sometimes crime.
