How long do you have to be on the job?

It depends - a good work history is more important than how long you've been at your current job. If you have 2 years of job history, and your credit is good and you have previous rental history that is good, you should be fine.

That isn't an easy question to answer with the info you gave. If this is your first job and you really don't have a work history it is going to be more difficult. If you have someone who would be willing to co-sign that would take the pressure off. If you don't have any of this you are going to have to try your charm and maybe your school records or anything that can help show the type of person you are.
