Wife has seen new homes. Yet the market place appears overpriced in the area.
Can a potential buyer make a less than posted list price offer on a new home?

My broker is getting me a Mortgage from First Magnus Financial Company of Arizona. I never heard of this company. After reading many news stories of Sub Prime Issues, I am concerned. Anyone know this company. Should I ask my Mortgage Broker to find other sources. I really appreciate some helpful responses. Thanks.

Does anyone know how fast a landlord could be arrested after a rental unit is looked at by a county inspector? Will hey call the sherriffs to arrest them immedietly after a very bad inspection where several health and safety laws are broken and they have harrassed us (me and my hubby) for a while now, i mean, 10 days into our 30 day notice they called up demanding to be let in and when we told them no they starte to throw allegations on us! Im wondering if anyone knows if they wont be able to take retalitory action after the inspection because they police will get them????

My 1/2 duplex was originally built to be one suite. It is now two and thus has NO soundproofing. I can hear the neighbors alarm clock! They can hear mine. I can hear their t.v. channel and their arguements.. often word for word. My concern is that I am having a baby in a few months. The neighbors can even hear my baby's heartbeat when I listen on my machine! That is not loud at all. They say the porch door in my enterance echos in their place. I am in the basement and it is cold. I turn the heat on, and they complain that they sweat and open their windows in a Canadian winter. These neighbors are moving this week. I don't know who will my new neighbors will be. But my newborn will cry and wake up at night.. they will hear everything... I don't want to be tense with my baby crying and being more uncomfortable in my home then I was with these neighbors.. WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

i am a single mom and would move when my lease is up with a newborn baby and a 7 year old. I love my location now

We rent a mobile home with our 3 year old son and 1 year old daughter, and live next door to our landlords in the country. They had a few homes to rent out,and a couple with a 2 year old girl moved in.I wanted to invite them to our daughters' birthday party next month.Should I go ahead and invite them even though I don't know them,or should I just forget about having them over?

I just leased the upper and lower duplexes in a house built in 1911. A problem arose where the "handyman" was called out. He immediately asked me in the owner/landlord had told me it was haunted and that was the reason he and his family had moved out.
I know there is a clause in selling houses to disclose abnormal occurrences, but I wonder does this include rentals?
And btw the landlord showed up a few minutes later and confirmed the occurrences.

I'd like to finance and buy a piece of land that would be a great country setting for a home, stream, near lake, flat, some trees, near roads, etc. In an area with no risk for tornadoes. I'd like to spend from $10-$13k and make double profit. Does anyone have any suggestions? (people, places, etc) Thanks.
