If you have clothes from second hand stores and a vehilce worth $1000 and living on a student loan, what can they do if you dont' have the money? It is $480 and I dont have it (the internet wont' let me out of my contract and I am a full time student with 2 kids). I moved to another state and that company doesn't run their service to my state so I had to break my contract when I moved. What can the creditors acutally do? Take my kids bikes to sell them?

So you have to be 18 to enter a legal binding contract, but how old does one have to be to be the co signer.

Also does this person need good credit, or the fact that they now have two people on the ring for the payments enough to get approved?

I work for a small Bank. We loan money to customers. Some customers become late with payments and we call them at home and work. I've had 1 or 2 say to cease call them. My manager said that if the customer has an established relationship with our bank, and we are trying to collect on a loan, we can continue to call the customer. Is this true? Or would we be breaking the "Do Not Call Registry" law?

I received my credit report from experian and have to call them about a dispute. The problem is that I did the online look up and there is no telephone number listed I can call and talk to a real person!!! The only info I get is "look on your printed report and call that number" Ha Ha, I would like to do that!

So anyone out there who can give me the customer service telephone number from their experian credit report.

Also, are collectors allowed to lie/misrepresent? I had a collector call my company and mysteriously say he was with "Child Support Services" to find out info pertaining to me. Plus, some other weird comments made previously..

I am in between jobs right now and have no money. I'm thinking about getting a credit card. How does it work? Do I start paying the money back within the first month or do you start making payments later on?

What happens to credit card debt when one's parents pass away in the event that they do not have an estate, BUT the children do have an estate (real estate, etc)?

Morbid, but just wondering.

I just got my first credit card and decided to use it once or twice a month for gas at first. Now my bill is due18th of October and it's $44. When should I pay it? A week before the due date? Also what should I pay? The full amount of 44 or the minimum payment? Which looks better? Any advice as well is generous. Thanks

Hello. How does a court judgment for a medical bill count against one's credit score? For instance, for a debt of $10k, if the court decides in the hospital's favor, what will that do to my FICO score? Is there a specific amount the score will decrease by? Is it based on the amount of the debt? Thanks in advance.

My husband and I live in a crap, crap, crap, did I mention crap mobile home. Well, now we need to buy a house becuase our place is falling apart and I hate that my son has to grow up in such a POS. Anyway, we still owe on this place but KNOW that no one will pay a penny for this place. So, I'm wondering if my husband agreed to a voluntary repossession and we got the mortgage in my name how bad would that hurt us?
