I have a Capital One car and I'm not working at the moment. I'm a little over the limit on my card and I have to make a payments, but I don't have the means to do so. Is there any way I can cancel the card and talk to someone at Capital One to arrange a lesser amount of monthly payments?? Help please.

Call the customer service number on the back of the card. Choose the menu option to speak to a customer service rep and explain your problem to them. If they refuse to help, ask for a supervisor.

You can always cancel ( which stops your ability to spend / overspend ) but
The debt obligations will still be there and accruing % .
Best to get a couple of part time jobs from a temp agency to save your financial reputation .

They won't close your account until it's at a zero balance. I doubt that they will adjust your payments as per your terms and agreement.
Good Luck!
