I received my credit report from experian and have to call them about a dispute. The problem is that I did the online look up and there is no telephone number listed I can call and talk to a real person!!! The only info I get is "look on your printed report and call that number" Ha Ha, I would like to do that!

So anyone out there who can give me the customer service telephone number from their experian credit report.

PLEASE

I filed a dispute but found out in the meantime that everything was correct. So I would like to cancel the dispute and have to talk to someone since I can't cancel over the internet.

Don't worry about cancelling the dispute. If you found out the information is valid, when they attempt to verify it they will find out the same thing. There is no penalty, other than not being able to dispute the SAME information again. But since you say it is correct this is not a worry you need to have.

If you got the report recently, you should be able to go back to the report online. File your dispute online or mail it. You don't have to talk to someone. In fact the process will go much faster if you don't insist on talking to someone. All they would do is take down the info anyway.

They will not take a disoute over the phone. You either need to send a letter, or fill out the online form.
