Ok, so basically the payment was due on the 27/6, theres no other reason on my part for the lateness, apart from that for some reason I thought id already paid (cr*p to do list ticking off perhaps?!).
I got a late payment reminder, which I didnt open (I figured theyd sent my statement out again seen as I wasnt due one and, to my knowledge, had no issues). This told me I had 7 days to pay the 'amount due immediately'. This was dated on the 3/07.

I plan to pay tomorrow, so itll go in on monday I guess, seen as its sunday tomorrow.

I dont have a huge balance, but I have been repaying the minimum as my circumstances have changed and its not a huge amount to worry hugely about interest.

Basically I want to know if this will effect my credit rating?

Im not a happy bunny not knowing either way at the moment, because I need to apply for a career delevelopment loan soon and its reallyyyy important to me that I get it!

Thankyou

If Trans Risk is a subsidary of Trans Union, why would I have a 100 point difference in credit scores between them? The Trans Risk is 100 points lower than the Trans Union.

Just entered a new company and will be needing credit card for work. So started to apply for them. Currently received unsuccessful results from 2 banks. No reasons given and this is how they going to help? With meeting of the cap to apply and knowing that I have not taken up any loans or debts. Why does my applications keep failing?

If a credit card is under the parent's account, but has the minor's name on it, can the minor build up credit, or do they have to have the card linked to their own account?

My score is currently 567 with two accounts that are fairly new (6-12 mos) and in perfect standing. All of my neg accounts are dropping off in the next 3-10 mos. They were all incurred at the same time after a layoff. (It has been just about the 7 year limit.) I was curious how much my score will change with the dropoff of about 6 accts that are neg? I plan to open one more account, a car loan. But I am waiting for the negs to change my score. So I guess the question is, has anyone waited for negs to drop off, and if so, what was the net change for better or worse to your credit score?

Im not posting one of those whoa is me type questions but it seems like when it rains it pours - Ive never had just a couple of issues in life it either goes from good to very very bad or vice versa, I just found out that my bank account was "siezed" because of a credit card I still owe on from God knows when... I can pay off the balance but I have to come up with 700 bucks before wednesday of next week to have them release my bank acct or my entire paycheck will be taken I ususally make about $1100 every 2 weeks so if i could come up with the 700 i can pay it back when i get my check but have NOONE to get the money from. I actually contemplated driving my car into a concrete pillar but I know money issues should be the last reason to take such drastic messures but I honestly feel that this situation is pulling me down and making me down. Anyone have any suggestions of how I can "snap" out of it??

I have 3 bad revolving credit cards that I closed years ago. At that time, I had to "Pay them Off" and were closed. On my credit report, they are reported as paid off, closed and still revolving. How can I remove the fact that they are revolving. Will it be removed in 7/10 years or do I have to call the companies to remove the revolving part. I really don't know. Please Help!

Hi, I'm Alex and wanted to ask everyone a very important question. About a month ago I called Bank of America and applied for a personal loan, and they told me right that second I wasn't approved.

Today, I got a letter from Bank of America explaining my declined application for a loan. There is a sentence that doesn't make any sense to me can you please tell me what it means?

"Bank of America"
After careful review, we were unable to approve your request because your credit references have not been established for a sufficient length of time and "there are too many inquiries on your credit file. What in the hell does that mean.

I only have 3 credit cards, Capital One, and 2 others. As far as I know I have NEVER missed a payment or sent it in late, so why is there problems with my credit at all? Please any advice is welcome, I want to keep my score in good standing. Thanks for your time and any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Alex

Will it help my credit score if I pay it off now, or has the damage already been done and there is no need to. (P.S. I have not paid on it for 8 years)

I rarely call customer service, so I couldn't remember the passcode placed on my account last year. In order for me to change the passcode, the security department asked if I would verify public information concerning the nearest relative who lives with me who is NOT on my account, or affiliated with my account in any way. Supposedly public records about me, listed their name, age, and place of birth.

This seemed very strange. Has anyone every experienced this? Also, the relative they asked me to verify information about, has TERRIBLE credit, and judgments, so will their credit history affect my relationship with this creditor? Thanks

I'm being charge a late fee of $40 for nothing!! I owed $27 for the month but after I returned something and got the credit on the card the balance was $1.06. I sent it on time and everything but they say i have to pay $40 because the minimum balance wasnt sent even though only $1.06 was due. Ive never sent a late payment or not paid in full or minimum and they dont want to take it off. Any advise?
