it will stay on your credit report for 7 years.

You don't get it off. That what a credit report is. Just because you made up the late payment and became current does not allow you to ask that it be removed.

It will disappear in the normal time frame of seven years from its original delinquency.

you will ought to dispute it and the creditor has 30 days to respond and in the event that they don't you're able to have it bumped off out of your credit checklist. pay attention with companies who say this becasue some are tempory. you're able to try this on your very own via writing to the creditor and credit bureaus and if lenders do not respond interior of 30 days, you're able to have it taken off your credit checklist.

You can't. It will be 'erased' after seven years.

You can add a statement to your report to explain the sitution. This statement will be viewable for all prospective credit grantors.
