I wrote a check to my job that I found out today was returned nsf. I accidentially grabbed the wrong check book and thought I had written it out of another account, it was an honest mistake and I have the cash to cover the check. I am scared that I am going to lose my job over an accident. I always write checks there and this is the first time something like this has ever happened. How should I approach them to tell them. I want to tell them before they find out about it and make good on the check.

I just bought an 07 Civic Si last month. I didnt make any payments yet (just the downpayment). I got my loan thru the dealer at 8.6%, I checked elsewhere..and its 5.99%. Should I take the 5.99% to pay off the 8.6%? Or is that just wasting my time? And I'm not sure if this is "re-financing" since its only been a month. Thank you for you help..

I make a lil over 65k on the books and about 10-15k off. My credit score at all 3 bureas is between 648-660. Will Land Rover financial give me a hard time leasing a 2005 Range Rover? (retail 50-60k). I have no negatives on my credit report. I do however have 15k in student loans I am still paying off and my current car loan that has 23k left that I have paid on time for the last two years. I also have about 10k in random credit card debt (revolving credit). I have had those accounts for 2-4 years and none of them have ever been late.

In the building where I live used to live another lady called Aleida P. with a different last name. The credit report is confusing us both because of the same name. The true is that I don't even know Aleida P. The problem is that I didn't check my credit report in 4 years. Know I am applying for a job and for credit and the creditors denied me everything. And I didn't get the job either.
When I requested my credit report it shows that the other lady called Aleida has delinquencies, liens, judgmets. Can I fix it?

Last year i went to the local hospital here in Weston, Wv for my severe hypertension. They told me they had to admit me because my blood pressure was so high. I stayed there for 4 days and my bill was over 6k. I have no insurance and no job, my fiance makes too much for me to get dissability and i didnt get excepted for the hospital to mark it off as charity because he made too much money as well! Well now i got a summons in todays mail to pay for this hospital bill. I need to answer it it within 20 days, what do i say to the circuit court? They are now taking me to circuit court to pay this bill. How can they get away with that, it was emergency care and i can not afford to pay it, how can they take me to court and force me to pay it off?? Any info would be great! If i could afford to pay it i would!!

It's my understanding that your credit score is joint after marriage...is this true, or am I completely uninformed? I'm getting married in July and I have significantly better credit than my fiance. I've taken over his finances and have been steadily improving his credit, but it's still not quite good. It's more in the high range of fair. Will our credit score be calculated jointly after marriage, and, if so, how will it be calculated? Would it be an average of what we have now?

$40,000 in debt with 4 credit cards, I have great credit and pay on time. Recently cc's raised interest from 7.9 to 23% because they said too, much debt ratio. If I use consolidation will that affect credit and do they charge and are they just doing what I could do (like search for other credit cards with lower rates?)

The father of my son and I are now estranged and he has been constantly intimidating me and torments me with guilt. I am from Asia and when I got pregnant, he asked me to move to the US to have the baby and he will take care of everything. I left my job, my family and friends in a drop of a hat because I want us to be together. Before I was due, he told me to apply for Medicaid and other social services assistance to have the baby. But was denied. The baby came and I was rushed by my cousin (not him) to the hospital. Two months after, I started getting the bills but I am unemployed and he said it's ok. Now, I left the US because my visa has expired. Although he signed the birth certificate, is he accountable for my debt?

how do I get this reversed? I have lost $79.00 and got a card that isa actuqally no good. I do not know where I can use it and how I m supposed to pay the bill. I do not want the card and want a refund to my account. and will they just take the entire cost out of my account or do I have a choice of monthly payments? Help! I just got ripped off I think. Should I try and close it or can I report this to someone? Who to? I was completely lost and now I can't afford to buy anything as I am on a fixed income. Please let me know anything you can to help me straighten out this mess. I do not want to hurt my already bad credit. Would appreciate any help. Is there a phone I can call to? Does anyone ever get it rememdied? I was just investigating..not ordering it. Besides it says in the information that I will receive a crdeit card within 5 daysa abd I have nor received that either. How badly have I screwed up? Is there something like a center to complain to? Please help. me.

I am currently paying my car note to a car rental company and they cannot give me a pay-off quote nor what I have paid towards the interest for almost a year. They are calling me every month two to three days before my car note is due. I have something in mind but would like others input on this. Thank You All

Do we live in such a world, that you can't even exist legitimately without having every single transaction tracked on a credit system that is a handful of number, and questions that are stored in a computer. With out anything realy what's left to say that you even really have money. You can make money on the internet in hours a day without every really doing anything. Is the world so comepletly technologic that we can be millionaires with out working?

I work at a small city library as the only employee (the director) and I have been given permission to apply for a credit card. I found a small business credit card that was agreed on, but when I went to apply, I was confused about which type of business to classify us as. The options are:
Business Individuals
C-Corporation
Corporate Trust
General Partnership
Individual Trust
Limited Liability
Limited Partnership
Professional Corporation
Proprietorship
S-Corporation

It doesn't seem to me that we are any of these. Maybe a library doesn't count as a business? Help please! Which one would you consider a library?
