My lease is up on May 1st. I only have a small downpayment and my husband and I both have poor credit scores (mid 500s). Together our income is over 55000, but since we are young, we haven't had our jobs very long. We have some old collections accounts (about 4 years old) but I have several positive lines now. We are currently working to settle our old debts but this could take a few months. Should we try and get pre-approved now, or should we stay in another apartment and wait for another year? I want a house!!

Has anyone ever had a bank force close your account? and if so how do you get a bank account again? Because no other bank will open an account for you.. Is this an impossible fix?

i've received about 6 offers in the mail and narrowed it down to two. the one m most interested in is one from GM:

0% introductory APR on balance transfers til FEb 2008, rewards: 1% cash back, 1%toward any new vehicle or 3% towards any eligible new Gm vehicle. no annual fees of $100 or more. variable premium APR: 9.99 %, 14.99%, or 17.99%, and 20 grace period for repayment.

i need one, and i figured i could use it to pay my rent and then use the cash i normally would use and pay off the credit. does this sound like a good thing or could i possibly get screwed over hard on it?? i have "a little above average" credit for my age: 720 (when in bought my car in september) and make my payments on time; sometimes like 2 weeks late but never 30 days late. PLEASE let me know out there!!!! thanks

I currently am injured and cannot work, I am in college and I have a $2500 credit card debt, that is the total from all the 4 cards I need to pay off. I have very bad credit because I was paying these bills but got sick and injured. Now I want to get a loan and just pay it off and have one monthly bill, but where do I get this loan from with my bad credit, I tried prosper.com but got no bids? Someone please give me a solution. Should I consolidate the $2500 dollars or what?

In 2004 and 2005 I was deliquent in paying back my student loan. Since 2005, I've paid on time. It's the only blemish on my credit report. Does the government have a "forgiveness" or second chance program to remove this from my credit report?

I've had some previous credit problems but I've paid off all my outstanding accounts in collections. Currently I'm only still paying my student loans. I want to apply for a mortgage in the near future and want to improve my credit.

I need to refinance my house. I have 2 mortgage loans 80/20. And if I try to refinance in 2yrs or less I have to pay a penalty fee. I'll have 1 yr with my house on April. I want to take cash out of the house but the market here in Florida where I live went down and my house cost less than is suppose to be. This is something I dont understand because when you buy a house is because it is an investment and in my case it is not, and my mortgage payment is $2200, that is a lot.. when I bought it the broker told me I can refinance in 6 months but look now. My score is between 596-610. Any suggestions... what should i do? Need money and need help!
