A while ago i lost my credit card and got a new one. I got a copy of my credit report and my credit card company had reported this lost/stolen card to the credit bureaus. Why would they do this, and will this negatively affect me credit-wise?

i have got 2 incomes from two different sources. One is income of Rs 2.5/- lakhs from a business of my individual capacity. Another is an income of Rs one lakh from huf. I am the karta of this huf. This income of Rs one lakh is my share from this huf.both of these incomes are tax paid incomes i.e. net incomes.i have filed these two income tax returns separately.the total net income of this huf is rs.2 lacs. can i go to the banks with these two different itr's and ask for two different loans. one loan on behalf of my individual itr and one loan on behalf of my huf itr?while lending will banks consider total income of the huf and lend to the huf only or will they consider my income share from huf and lend to me as karta accordingly?

Im 18 years old and lack credit history..the only thing I have as of now is a Macy's card which I've been using for just one month. Can anyone give any suggestions or recommendations as to how I can start building my credit? Or which credit card companies will be willing to take on a customer with limited credit history? I've applied for several but got rejected due to my lack of credit history.

Trying to decide if I should transfer balance from one card to another. Much lower interest, but the two cycle billing on the new card bothers me. Does it make much difference? 0% on Transfers, first 12 months, no fees.

If so, did you file a police report? Did anything come out of it? Did you get another card?

I made the mistake of getting credit cards when i was 18 (now 30). My car is paid off and i rent. i owe about 8,500 in student loans and am making payments on that. the rest of my det is under $ 8000. If some that is in collection already and i start to make payments, will my credit score go up? I want to be able to buy a home within a year or two. thanks in advance

my fiance has a credit score of about 550.we would like 2 buy a house soon, but i'm sure its pretty obvious that wont happen if we dont fix the credit problem.i have a few ??.i know this is going 2 sound pretty ridiculas & selfish, but whats the point of paying off the bad credit,if its not going 2 bring the credit score up?we have paid a few things off already, but it is still showing up as bad credit on the report. and if i'm right,it won't go away for 7 years anyway?another problem is,one of the MAJOR things on his credit, which we ARE trying to get taken care of,they are wanting us to pay them over $200 a month!we keep trying to tell them we can't make that kind of payment,we need to figure something else out,and all they do is tell us that what we are offering isnt good enough, and they r threating 2 take him 2 court or garnish his wages.i thought they were supposed to work with us?i dont know what to do or where to start?this is dragging me/us down, and i'm starting to feel hopeless?!!

I am a U.S. Citizen planning on residing in Canada, and wanted to know if there is a way I can make payments to my U.S. accounts from a Canadian checking account or on-line bill payment site. I want to keep my credit good in the USA but am afraid that it will be difficult for me to make payments to my U.S. accounts from a Canadian checking account. Any suggestion or feedback would be truly appreciated.
