It would be best to talk to a relative or sell or pawn some personal items. There are some companies willing to lend you money even if you have bad credit. But they will hit you with a very high (and I mean very high) interest rate. I know of some small finance companies that do lend money here in TX even if you have had a BK and Foreclosures. But the interest rate is about 84% if you borrow $1200 and make monthly payments.
But please (and I do mean PLEASE) stay away from PayDay Loans. Most do not check your credit, but they charge you a 400% interest rate. If you borrow 500 dollars, you must pay $590 pay in two weeks and that sucks. That is way too much money to pay back in a short time.
Check out the Yellow pages in the phonebook under personal loans or Loans. There should be something in there about bad credit loans. But remember to stay away from Payday loans.
Good luck.
