Various different people, one that I know of for sure, used my name in order to be accepted in the hospital ,someone else used it to finance their education. I am being apprroached by attorneys saying if I do not pay I will be taken to court Do I call the local police dept and tell them or do I call someone else? If I call the police I am sure they can tell me who to call.

My husband and I moved into an apartment and we lived there for 18 months. Our first lease, my mother in law had to co-sign. That lease expired after 6 months and we signed another lease for a year by ourselves. About 3 months after that, another leasing company bought the apartment complex. After we moved out, we received a letter from the new lease company demanding $2400 in damages to the apartment. The damages included new carpet, paint, new locks, and cleaning. The carpet was worn and statined when we moved in. We did nothing to the walls that would require repainting. We didn't even hang photos on the wall. I have disputed this on my credit report. There is no way for them to prove that me and my husband did any damage because they did not see the state of the apartment when we moved in. On the same token, we cannot prove that we did not. They have also place this on my mother in laws credit report. She was not on the lease when we moved out. Any hope in resolving this? Thanks

I was just wondering why everything from July to present is not being reported to Equifax. Like clockwork, monthly listings to Experian are listed. Transunion seems to be a month behind. Equifax though shows up nothing. I have three lines of credit(2 bank CC's and a GMAC auto loan) and all report in the same fashion. Am I missing something? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks ahead of time for your responses.

I need to apply for a credit card online, were is the best place? I don't have good credit, but i think there are some places that accept bad credit and still approve a credit card for you. It can also be a debt card.

When my parents separated, my father took my mom's credit card and maxed it out. Needless to say he put us in a bad situation where now we are just trying to get my mom's credit fixed. Right now she is having some major financial issues, is there place that will give her a loan based on her income rather than her credit!?? All she needs is about 1,500.00$ Maybe less..??

I'm not sure if this question has been asked, if so sorry for the repeat. Here's the deal. My fiance and his ex bought a car together. She stopped making the payments, it got repoed. The collection agency is calling him. I have been talking to many different people at the same agency and getting different stories. What should I do to make sure that we pay only what we have to and not some other charge? Any advice as to how I go about handleing this whole thing?
