My advice, given the fact that you say you have bad credit, is to not have a credit card at all. It will cost you a great deal of money in interest.
A debit card takes money directly out of your checking account. It is not a credit card. No one is lending yuu money with a debit card, and it is available with any bank that offers checking accounts. A debit transaction is just like writing a check from your account. A credit card is a loan, and unless you can pay your monthly balance in full every month, they charge you a cazy interest rate that only fools would pay. Unfortunately many, many people are fools, and throw their money away every month. Don't be one of them.be smart. on't buy anything you can't pay for or have saved for. Before you kow it you will have a great credit rating and someone will be willing to lend you money for something important, like a house.

Find a bank that offers free checking with a Visa or MasterCard debit card. The card will be good everywhere they take credit cards, and you can also use it at that low price gas station that only takes cash and ATM cards.
Don't even bother with credit cards, they are a financial death trap.

Debit cards you get from the bank your checking account is with, but there are prepayed debit cards out there as well. Try creditcard.com and see what happens.
