When my parents separated, my father took my mom's credit card and maxed it out. Needless to say he put us in a bad situation where now we are just trying to get my mom's credit fixed. Right now she is having some major financial issues, is there place that will give her a loan based on her income rather than her credit!?? All she needs is about 1,500.00$ Maybe less..??

Have your mom try Prosper.com. It is a low loan amount and yes they check credit. The difference here is that people make bids on how much they are willing to lend. Also, the interest rate is high but if she makes her payments on time for 3 years then the next loan she needs the interest rate will be lower. Plus they do report to the credit reporting companies.

She could also try paying those high rate credit cards on a bi-weekly basis. Just tell her to take the minimum payment and divide it by 2. Every 2 weeks she makes the payment and she will see how fast those balances come down. Also, her credit scores will rise faster.

I'm not sure how bad your mom's credit is. A payday loan maybe if she makes enough. However she can get a line of credit. MBNA does lines of credit.

Some of those payday loans places, or the like, will lend if you put up your pink slip.

Have you tried going somewhere where you can consolidate your loans, to pay them off in small monthly payments, or going to a legal "loan-shark" to borrow money?
