If you get this call, tell you will call your company right away and see what's going on. Don't give them any info at all.

I've started looking around, but I'm not sure whether to go for the lowest interest rate, lowest fees or what. I doubt that I will be able to make any payments until I get home, so I need something that can last me 6 months without payments.
I have no idea, where to start so any help would be greatly appreciated. (I live in Aust and m travelling to Europe if that makes a difference)

Is there any point that a collection agency can go to that is considered harrassment to the point of being illegal? Such as calling 20x's a day? Saying they're sending a statement and never getting one? Refusing to send another statement? If so, what do you do about it??

I was overdrawn about 30 bucks and didn't have a real job at the time and couldn't pay it back really fast...us bank charges like 3 dollars a day until you pay it back...well my account was overdrawn because of that 400 something dollars...so i cant get another bank account because they claimed account abuse and i was just wondering how i completely clear it up and if i just pay it off can i get another bank account again???

If you go late in 2000 and then the creditor charges off your account in 2001, then the creditor sells to another company in 2002 who reports at that time a new fee which is the original plus additional collection charges. In 2004 the 2nd company sells to a 3rd company who again adds more charges and reports it late in 2004. When does the 7 years expire on ALL of these? Will ALL of them be removed in 2007 when the initial debtor's record is removed or simply the original one while the other 2 stay?

Like many people, I ruined my credit in college. However, for the past year I have been paying all my bills exactly on time and I've been paying credit card bills in full. I've been taking all the right steps. How long will it take for me to undue the past? Will I receive a good credit score any time soon or has the past ruined me for good
