Hello, hi users of yahoo...

I am wondering, I just checked my credit score with the three different places. With Experian, my score is 675. While with Transunion and Equifax, my score is 565. I am somewhat confused. I am getting deined by most credit card places, and I am wondering if there are any credit card companys out there that check only the Experian credit report?

Thanks...

I pay my credit card every month. I've never been late with a payment and I always pay the card off in full. I recently decided to have them take my payment out of my husband's bank account online(i don't have a bank account at the moment) so I did some auto draft payment. They took the payment out but then didn't give me the credit.. So it says I have no available credit. I called the credit card company and they told me that per my contract they had a right to hold my payment for 20 days or more. When I asked why she just said because they had the right. I read in my contract where it says that but it also says if they feel threatened. If I'm making my payments ontime and I always pay off my card why would they do this???

I recently answered a question about how to build credit. Why do you want it is what I want to know! I have 2 very nice paid for cars (one is a classic hotrod), I don't have to worry about making my credit card payment at the end of the month, and if I wanna buy somthing frivolis I have the cash to do it on the spot.

Why in God's name do all of you want to live with the threat of finacial ruin. Many people live in fear of losing their homes if they get laid off. I have managed my money and built up large sums of cash on a 25k job a year. I could quite now and take a 3 month vacation before I got serious about looking for a new job. I did it by not messin with stupid credit.

Why do all of you mess with somthing as stupid as a credit card?

I made a HUGE mistake of cosigning a loan last year for my fiancee to get a car loan. I thought we were getting married, so i didnt see the big deal of it then. However, we are had some major issues recently and have broken off the engagement, and broken up. He has told me he would never put me in the position to have to pay his loan, that he would always pay it, but i'm scared that he might use it against me. He did write a letter last year stating I wasnt responsible for the payments, but is that a legal document? do i have any recourse? can someone tell me where i can find out my rights if i have any?

If someone reviews their report who owes child support, is it flagged in the sense that a message automatically goes to the child support enforcement agency that this person has viewed their report?

Thanks to all who answered previous question.

I excercised my right and disputed the validity of a debt owed that I have no idea about. This was back in May of 06, and within the 30 days as required, I sent the request via certified mail with a return signature request. I received no information back from the collection agency, "Merchant's Credit Guide Co." like I should have under my rights. Apparently they are doing this on behalf of their client "Asset Acceptance", to whom I have this debt with. The original creditor is Citibank (I have never had an account with them). Anyway, it's now Sept., and I got yet another letter trying to collect this mysterious debt from a company who is the "new" owner of this debt---Assest Acceptance, LLC. (Yes, too ironic). In this letter, it states that they are the "new" collection agency for this account, and I have 30 days, blah, blah. What's going on, and do I have to once again respond? What are my rights beyond the initial inquiry I made? Any formidable advice would be so appreciated. Thnks

I want to apply for a credit card that starts out with a minimum credit line of $300. If I get it, it will be my first credit card. If I get the $300 credit, I want to make a purchase for like $200. Is this a good thing or a bad thing to do? Can someone give me some good tips on handling a credit card without getting bad credit?

As the question states, I have no credit history. There is no way I can get someone to co sign for a loan for me. I was just wondering if this was the best way for me to get a credit history if I use the card wisely and make a minimal amount of purchases.

We had a company charge our credit card about two weeks ago that we closed 1 1/2 years ago due to it being stolen. We got a letter in the mail stating that a charge was made using that number and that they tried several times to reach us, no they didn't letter was the first we heard about it, and they transferred the charge to the new account number. I can't understand how the bank can not raise a red flag on this charge, and actually just roll it over to the new account. So I am wondering that when you make a purchase, how long does the company have to charge your credit card before the statute of limitations expires?

This is a question about credit behavior.

I asked a credit line in an electronic store to buy a $1,600 TV set under their promotion of no-interest for 3-yrs. They approved my application, but only for $500 limit, thus I did not buy the product. I want to cancel this account but have some questions before:
- An account opening like this one reduces the credit score? I would like to know if an opening like this could have reduced my score.
- If I cancel this account tomorrow, just 2 days after opening it, and without using it, will this affect my score?

Many thanks.
