My Husband has an Account, he added me to it. Now he is $400 and he is not paying it. He says he has bad credit already it doesn't matter to him, MY QUESTION will this effect my credit also? He is the Primary Account holder I was just added.

If its a joint account, Yes. If he just added you, you can have him remove you from the account. More than likely it will affect your credit as well.

I just added my husband to my credit card. They said if I just added him then it won't affect his account. If we turned into a joint credit card it will affect his credit. You better call and find out ASAP. Hopefully you can remove it fast before it affects your credit.

Having done home loans and reviewed plenty of credit reports, if your account is joint then it affects both credit scores. hope this helps.

His late payments would show on your report, yes. But if you are just an "authorized user" and not actually ON the account, ask that you be removed and then start a dispute online and ask that that account be deleted.

Try fast to separate his finances from yours. Pay what he owes and write an explanation to the credit bureau,
