Recently 4 people in my company were promoted. 3 of out the 4 people promoted were all related to each other. One in particular has been with this company 7 years, 1/2 the time I have been here, and he has been promoted 3 times.I have never been promoted to anything and I have been here nearly 15 years. My company never posts these opportunities and it seems like it is always the same people that get promoted, more money, etc. I have a college degree in management but I am never considered. Is there anything illegal about what is going on here? Can I take any legal action?

I paid my dues and moved on with my life, but now I was interested in going to college to become an RN but I don't know if I can do so with a felony on my record. It was non violent and non drug/sexual related crime, and it has been 7 years since then. Does anyone know If I can become an RN in the state of Ohio with this on my record?

Can I afford to take a few months off from work? I have been working in the ad industry for 14 years, have no debts, have some money in the bank saved for a rainy day. I am single so no commitment issues!
Would taking a break benefit me? Am I over reacting? Or should I keep going? Has anyone taken a break from an industry and come back better?

I received a e-mail from this person regarding a job saying I will receive money from them because they need someone to cash the money orders and keep 10% plus take out the fees I did receive $8100.00 in counterfeit moneyorders this has got to stop now I don't have access to my account anymore and seeking help from anyone that has gotton a offer like this I got answers for you.You've been scammed. I have finished three years of school at UCONN, with one year to go. I took the last year off because I cant quite afford to finish right now. I am looking for a reputable job, as working as a waitress just doesn't cut it right now. I studied Human Development and Family studies, but I would definitely be willing to try a typical "office/admin" job just to start. Any suggestions of where to begin looking for a new job, other than the paper? I live in Boston, MA, if that helps. Thanks!

i have 20k friends, and i add more and more each day. i'm 17 years old and i have been adding friends for about a year now. My mom always says what are you doing on there. blah blah blah. I tell her it's not a waste of time. Some day i want to advertise something. Like i have always wanted my own clothing line. So lets say 1/100 people like my clothes and but something. that would mean at least 100 people out of the 20,000. if not that something else. i think networking really helps. so be real with me everyone. do you think it's possible to make a career out of myspace? thanks. :]

Okay I got 2 interviews and got hired for both. One is at Circuit City as a PC tech in the FireDog Dept. for $10.50/hr But its like 1 HR away from my home.
Second one is at Staples as a Slaes PC personel for $9/hr and is really close to my home. both promising potential for growth and good benefits. WITCH DO I CHOOSE!?? Please help!

I'm working towards a career to become a Radiologic Tech but, I truly want to specialize in Ultrasound. How do I go about doing so? Is it on hands training or do I need to continue my education after rad-tech school to become an ultrasound tech?

I was told to become an ultrasound tech you have to go to one more year of school.

I learned that most places would perfer someone with a rad tech background then get specialized in Ultrasound rather than go straight to a school that offers Sonograpy...

Please help!! Any Rad-techs specializing in Ultrasound???

Were 23 and 25 newly weds moving from Jonesboro Ar, so she can go to gradschool. I have a Marketing and Human resources degree from Ole Miss. I just started selling Mary Kay Cosmetics a few weeks ago. I'm still very new in it but, i'm stressing out over alot. I was suppose to have put my first order in last week. Well, in order to get my inventory started. People are starting to ask for their money back & that means i would have to start over from scratch if i did that. I want to do it my own way & not have to help out anybody but, myself. That is why i started it in the first place. Its starting to not be fun the way i am told to run my own business. I guess my question is what should i do? I don't know if i should just forget the whole thing or just do it the way i want to do it & stop going to the meetings & doing everything the way they want me to. Please help with some good advice.
